Community Asset Mapping (CAM) is a strengths-based approach to community development. The goal of the CAM program is to assist a community in documenting its existing resources and incorporate these strengths into community development work. NHI believes that approaching individuals and communities from an asset-based mentality empowers them to recognize their own strengths and capacities.
